Before founding Faerfield, Martin was the Chief Executive of one of the UK’s leading executive recruitment and talent advisory businesses working across the public and not for profit sectors.
Over the last 25 years he has advised a wide range of organisations on their senior talent management strategies and has overseen the appointment of hundreds of executives to boards and management teams.
He has particular expertise and understanding of local and national government organisations and the challenges faced by public servants in the twenty first century. Much of his work has involved helping elected politicians secure and develop the right leadership teams to deliver their ambitions.
He is the co-author of an upcoming book on transitional coaching: ‘Coaching Senior Hires – Transitioning Potential into Performance.’
