The new Bradford Children and Families Trust began work in April this year. It’s an ambitious new start for the city and district, which has faced a number of challenges in the provision of services to children and young people in recent years. Early help and prevention is a fundamental part of how we want to break the cycle of vulnerability, and this role will play a crucial part in keeping the promise we’re making to our city and district. You’ll have specific responsibility to lead and develop high performance within the Early Help and Transformation teams, including devising and deploying new ideas and approaches that can make a lasting difference. As a visible leader of change within the trust, you’ll exemplify the a culture and practice of the child-focused and restorative services that we’re aiming to deliver.
We want to hear from candidates with exceptional leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both the legislative framework and relevant operating context. This professional repertoire will be underpinned by personal resilience, a collaborative style that seeks out good ideas and strong partnerships wherever they’re to be found, and an excellent understanding of how to recruit, develop and retain high-performing teams.
