An exceptionally rare opportunity to join Cotswold District Council as a Planning Development Manager as the current postholder is retiring after 20 years of service. You will spearhead a team and drive multiple high value planning projects for the benefit of the Cotswold district whilst delivering an outstanding service through a transformative and innovative approach.

Our Planning Service is fundamental to the success of the council’s ambition for the future. From our Cotswold Garden Village under development in Cirencester to the development of Cotswold Airport in Kemble, our focus is to create great places for people to live, work, learn and enjoy in our ever expanding and evolving communities.

We are looking for an experienced planner who is looking to take the next step in their career and be a valued member of the team to lead in dealing with multiple high value complex applications and taking charge of new projects such as the council's major new urban extension to Cirencester.
